Pulsafeeder J40158 PVS1 Stainless-Ball Foot Valve

The Pulsafeeder J40158 is a suction-side foot valve and strainer assembly for the PVS1 wet-end configuration. Its combination of an FPP body, Viton seat and 316 stainless-steel check ball distinguishes it from ceramic-ball and PTFE-ball alternatives.

Designed for Small-Diameter Suction Tubing

This assembly is specified for 1/4-inch inside diameter by 3/8-inch outside diameter tubing. Both measurements matter because a connection with the wrong outside diameter may not fit the original suction arrangement.

316 Stainless-Steel Check Ball

The stainless-steel ball is a key part of the valve construction. Its suitability depends on the chemical being handled; stainless steel should not automatically be assumed compatible with every dosing chemical.

Maintaining the Chemical Supply Inlet

The foot valve helps keep the suction line from draining backward, while the strainer helps prevent larger particles from entering the tubing. Deposits on the valve seat or ball may affect normal check-valve operation.
