Pulsafeeder 42738: Clamp Mount Mixer with 1/4 HP Motor and 34-Inch Shaft

The Pulsafeeder 42738 is a clamp mount chemical solution mixer, model code C-1-TE-H, that attaches to the rim of an open tank or drum with dual C-clamps. It pairs a 1/4 HP, 1725 rpm, 115/230 VAC motor with a 34-inch 316 stainless steel shaft and a single 2-3/8-inch impeller.

Technical Specifications

Adjustable Clamp Mount

Dual C-clamps with an adjustable pivot connection let the mixer be positioned at an angle on the tank rim. The steel clamp mount has a corrosion-resistant paint finish.

316 Stainless Steel Shaft and Impeller

The 34-inch shaft and integral 2-3/8-inch impeller are 316 stainless steel, coupled to the motor by a brass adapter with four stainless steel set screws. Epoxy and vinyl shaft coatings are available on other models for chemicals incompatible with 316 stainless steel.

Dual-Voltage TEFC Motor

The 1/4 HP motor runs at 1725 rpm on 115 or 230 VAC, 60 Hz single-phase power, with ball bearings and automatic overload protection.

Mounting Guidelines

Keep at least 3 inches of clearance between the impeller and any tank wall or bulkhead. Pulsafeeder does not recommend mounting this mixer directly to a polyethylene tank wall.

Typical Applications

Used to blend and keep chemical solutions in suspension in open tanks and drums for boiler, cooling tower and wastewater treatment programs.
