Pulsafeeder 41693 PVC/CSPE/Ceramic Injection Check Valve

The Pulsafeeder 41693 is an injection check valve assembly with a PVC housing, CSPE/Hypalon valve seat and ceramic check ball. It uses a 3/8-inch OD tubing connection and a 1/2-inch male NPT fitting for the chemical injection point.

Injection Valve for Chemical Feed Systems

The valve is installed where the metering pump discharge line connects to the process system. Its check-valve mechanism helps prevent process liquid from flowing backward into the chemical feed line.

CSPE Seat Versus PTFE Seat

The CSPE/Hypalon seat is a key distinction between 41693 and J41996. Although both use PVC housings, ceramic check balls and similar connections, J41996 uses PTFE sealing. The original pump configuration should determine the appropriate replacement.

Backflow Protection at the Injection Point

The integrated check mechanism helps resist reverse movement of process liquid toward the chemical supply system. The valve does not replace the need for other pressure-control or anti-siphon equipment where required by the installation.

Material Compatibility

Confirm the compatibility of PVC, CSPE and ceramic with the chemical being injected, including its concentration and operating temperature. Material selection should follow the manufacturer chemical-resistance recommendations.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect the injection connection for leakage, deposits and damaged threads. Check the valve for restrictions that may interfere with chemical injection. Depressurize the system before servicing.
