Suction Valve Function
The suction valve is installed on the inlet side of the metering pump head. During the suction stroke, the valve allows chemical to enter the pump liquid end from the supply line. During the discharge stroke, the check-valve action helps prevent the chemical from flowing backward into the suction tubing.
