PULSAtron J61020 PVDF Injection Check Valve
PULSAtron J61020 injection check valve with PVDF housing, PTFE seat and ceramic ball. Connects 3/8-inch OD chemical feed tubing to a 1/2-inch NPT process connection.
The PULSAtron J61020 is a chemical injection check valve assembly used on compatible PULSAtron metering pump systems. Installed where the chemical feed tubing connects to the process line, it provides a controlled injection point and helps prevent process liquid from flowing backward into the chemical feed system.
J61020 combines a PVDF housing with a PTFE valve seat and ceramic valve ball. Its connection configuration is 3/8-inch OD tubing on the chemical feed side and 1/2-inch NPT male at the process connection.

Designed for the Chemical Injection Point
The J61020 is positioned at the end of the metering pump discharge line where the dosed chemical enters the process. Chemical delivered by the pump passes through the valve toward the process stream, while the internal check mechanism helps restrict flow in the opposite direction.
This arrangement helps isolate the chemical feed line from process-side backflow and supports dependable dosing-system operation.
PVDF, PTFE & Ceramic Wetted Components
The valve uses a PVDF housing, PTFE seat and ceramic ball. These materials are commonly selected for chemical-feed equipment because of their suitability for a broad range of chemical metering applications. Chemical compatibility should always be confirmed for the specific fluid and operating conditions.
Connection Configuration
On the pump side, the J61020 accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing. The opposite end provides a 1/2-inch NPT male connection for installation at a compatible process injection point.

PULSAtron Parts Identification
PULSAtron parts documentation identifies J61020 as the injection valve in compatible liquid-end assemblies. The same documentation lists it separately from the foot valve/strainer, suction valve, discharge valve and bleed valve, making J61020 specifically the process-side injection component.
When to Inspect or Replace the Injection Valve
The injection valve should be inspected as part of routine chemical feed system maintenance. Deposits, contamination or wear around the valve seat and ball can interfere with proper check-valve operation. Cleaning or replacement may be required when the valve becomes restricted or no longer provides reliable one-way flow.
Installation Note
Confirm the pump model, tubing diameter, process connection and chemical compatibility before installation. The J61020 configuration uses 3/8-inch OD tubing and a 1/2-inch NPT male process connection.
