Pulsafeeder J60728 PULSAtron Foot Valve & Strainer Assembly
Genuine Pulsafeeder J60728 foot valve and strainer assembly with PVDF/GFPPL housing, TFE valve seat, ceramic ball and 1/2-inch OD tubing connection.
The Pulsafeeder J60728 is a genuine PULSAtron foot valve and strainer assembly designed for compatible diaphragm chemical metering pumps. Installed at the end of the suction tubing, the assembly helps maintain pump prime while filtering debris before chemical enters the pump.
The J60728 uses a chemical-resistant PVDF/GFPPL housing, TFE valve seat, ceramic check ball and ceramic weight. It is designed for 1/2-inch OD tubing and is used with compatible PULSAtron wet-end configurations.

Foot Valve Function
The foot valve provides a check-valve function at the end of the chemical suction line. It allows chemical to move toward the pump during the suction stroke while helping prevent liquid from draining back into the supply tank when the pump stops.
Strainer Function
The integrated strainer helps prevent larger particles and debris from entering the suction tubing and pump liquid end. Reducing contamination at the suction point can help protect valve components and support consistent metering performance.

Compatible Wet-End Configurations
Product documentation identifies the J60728 for compatible PULSAtron configurations including KTCA, VTCA, KTC3, VTC3 and WTC3 wet ends.
Installation & Maintenance
The foot valve and strainer should be installed near the bottom of the chemical supply tank while remaining suspended in an upright position. Keeping the assembly vertical allows the internal ceramic check ball to operate correctly.
Inspect the strainer periodically for deposits or blockage and verify that the valve ball moves freely. Proper maintenance of the J60728 helps support dependable priming and consistent chemical delivery.
