PULSAtron J41996 Injection Valve Assembly
PULSAtron J41996 injection valve assembly with PVC construction, PTFE/TFE seals, ceramic check ball, 3/8-inch OD tubing and 1/2-inch NPT connection.
The PULSAtron J41996 is an injection valve assembly designed for compatible chemical metering pump discharge systems. Installed at the chemical injection point, the valve allows metered chemical to enter the process line while providing check-valve and back-pressure functionality.
The J41996 features a PVC body, PTFE/TFE sealing components, a ceramic check ball, a 3/8-inch OD tubing connection and a 1/2-inch NPT male process connection.

Injection Valve Function
The J41996 is installed at the end of the metering pump discharge tubing where chemical enters the process system. During operation, the valve allows chemical to flow into the process line while helping prevent process fluid from flowing backward toward the metering pump.
Back-Pressure and Check-Valve Operation
The internal ceramic ball and PTFE/TFE seating components provide one-way valve action. This helps maintain directional chemical flow and supports dependable operation of the discharge side of the chemical feed system.
PVC, PTFE and Ceramic Construction
The J41996 combines a PVC valve body with PTFE/TFE sealing material and a ceramic check ball. The assembly connects to 3/8-inch OD discharge tubing and uses a 1/2-inch NPT male connection at the process injection point.

Installation & Maintenance
The injection valve is installed at the process injection point on the end of the discharge tubing. The 3/8-inch OD tubing is secured using the valve coupling nut, while the 1/2-inch NPT male connection threads into the compatible process fitting.
Inspect the valve periodically for deposits, restricted flow, sealing wear or check-ball contamination. Proper maintenance helps preserve reliable chemical injection and prevents unwanted reverse flow.
Verify the complete PULSAtron pump model, wet-end configuration and discharge tubing size before selecting the J41996.
